Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to PredBuilds ("the Service"), operated by Solstice Labs LLC, a Colorado limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using PredBuilds at predbuilds.com or through the PredBuilds mobile application (available on iOS and Android), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

PredBuilds provides data-driven build guides, hero analytics, tier lists, and related tools for the video game Predecessor. We analyze publicly available match data sourced from omeda.city to generate recommendations and statistics.

PredBuilds is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Omeda Studios Inc. Predecessor and all related trademarks are the property of Omeda Studios Inc. Game data is sourced from publicly available community resources.

2a. Proprietary Algorithms and Data Analysis

All build recommendations, win rate calculations, tier rankings, counter matchup analysis, team composition predictions, and other analytical outputs on PredBuilds are generated by proprietary algorithms developed by Solstice Labs LLC. These algorithms analyze publicly available match data and apply our own statistical models, weighting systems, and filtering criteria to produce recommendations. The resulting build data, recommendations, and analytical outputs are derived works and intellectual property of Solstice Labs LLC — they are not raw game data, but original analytical products created through substantial investment in research, development, and computational resources.

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Our algorithms, statistical models, and analytical methodologies are proprietary intellectual property and trade secrets of Solstice Labs LLC. They may not be reverse-engineered, reproduced, replicated, or extracted.
• Recommendations and calculations are derived from statistical analysis and do not guarantee in-game performance or outcomes. Game results depend on player skill, team coordination, opponent behavior, and other factors beyond the scope of data analysis.
• Results may differ from those provided by other analytics services, as each platform may use different algorithms, data sources, sample sizes, or filtering criteria.
• Our algorithms are continuously refined and updated. Recommendations, tier placements, and statistics may change as our models improve or as new match data becomes available.
• Data is sourced from a subset of publicly available matches, primarily from top-ranked and high-skill players. Statistics and recommendations may not reflect the experience of all players at all skill levels, and results may vary across different ranks and play styles.
• While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee the complete accuracy of any statistics, win rates, or analytical outputs. Data processing involves filtering, aggregation, and statistical modeling, each of which introduces potential for variance. Sample sizes, minimum thresholds, and data freshness vary by feature.

3. Guest Access and Accounts

PredBuilds can be used without creating an account. Guest users can browse tier lists, look up matches by Replay Code, use the AI chat assistant (limited to 5 messages), and create builds saved in the browser. Creating a free account unlocks personalized features including full match history tracking, cloud-synced saved builds, extended AI chat access, and search history. Account creation is only required for personalized features.

Guest Data and Local Storage

Guest data, including locally saved builds and preferences, is stored only in the browser. Clearing browser data will permanently delete all guest data with no possibility of recovery. Creating an account syncs your data (builds, matches, chat history, search history) to our servers, protecting it across devices.

You may create an account to access additional features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering and promptly update it if it changes.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are inactive for an extended period.

3a. Sign In with Apple and Account Linking

When you sign in using Apple, we receive your Apple ID email address (or a private relay email if you choose "Hide My Email"). If an account already exists with that email address, your Apple sign-in will be automatically linked to the existing account to prevent duplicate accounts and preserve your data. By using Sign In with Apple, you consent to this automatic account linking. You will not lose any previously saved data, builds, match history, or subscription status.

3b. Account Sharing and Concurrent Sessions

Your PredBuilds account is for your personal use only. Account sharing is not permitted. To ensure fair access, we limit concurrent active sessions to 2 (Free) or 3 (Pro/Lifetime) simultaneous sessions per account. If this limit is exceeded, additional sessions will be blocked until existing sessions are closed or expire. Attempting to circumvent session limits may result in account suspension.

3c. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time. Account deletion is available directly within the app (Profile tab → Delete Account) and on the website (Profile → Delete Account). Deleting your account will permanently remove all your personal data, saved builds, match history, and subscription information. This action cannot be undone.

Upon account deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., payment records for tax compliance). Any active subscriptions should be cancelled separately through the App Store, Google Play, or your account settings before deleting your account.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

PredBuilds offers free and premium subscription tiers:

• Free: Access to tier lists, basic hero stats, and limited build information.
• Pro Monthly ($2.99/month): Full build guides, team composition data, match history tracking, build saving, and all premium features. Includes a 3-day free trial for new subscribers.
• Pro Lifetime ($14.99 one-time): All Pro features with a single payment and no recurring charges. "Lifetime" access means for as long as PredBuilds remains operational. In the unlikely event that PredBuilds ceases operations, we will provide at least 30 days' advance notice to all users.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge the payment method on file. Monthly subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the next billing date.

You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at [email protected].

4b. In-App Purchases (iOS/Android)

Subscriptions purchased through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) are processed by Apple or Google respectively. Payment will be charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings > Subscriptions. Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies.

Subscriptions purchased on the website via Stripe are separate from app store subscriptions.

Important: Upgrading from Monthly to Lifetime. Purchasing a Lifetime subscription does not automatically cancel an existing monthly subscription. Apple and Google treat these as separate products. If you purchase Lifetime access while on a monthly plan, you must manually cancel your monthly subscription to avoid continued charges. To cancel: go to your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions (iOS) or Google Play > Subscriptions (Android). We are not responsible for charges resulting from failure to cancel a prior subscription after upgrading.

5. Free Trial

New users may be eligible for a 3-day free trial of Pro features when subscribing to the monthly plan. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your payment method will be charged automatically. Trial eligibility is limited to one free trial per email address per 365 days.

5a. Service Availability and Refunds

All purchases — including monthly subscriptions, lifetime access, and gift purchases — are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Lifetime and gift purchases are one-time payments with no refund eligibility.

While we strive for high uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. In the event of extended downtime exceeding 72 consecutive hours, monthly subscribers may request a prorated credit by contacting [email protected]. "Lifetime" refers to the operational life of the Service, not the purchaser's natural life. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature with reasonable notice. In the event the Service is permanently discontinued, lifetime subscribers will receive at least 30 days' advance notice.

5b. Gift Purchases

PredBuilds offers the ability to purchase Lifetime Pro access as a gift for another user. By purchasing a gift:

• Non-refundable: All gift purchases are final and non-refundable. We do not offer refunds on gift purchases under any circumstances.
• Expiration: The gift recipient has 30 days from the date of purchase to redeem the gift link. Unredeemed gifts expire after 30 days and are not eligible for refund or extension.
• Anonymous: Gift purchases are anonymous. We do not disclose the identity of the purchaser to the recipient.
• Single use: A gift may only be redeemed once and cannot be transferred.
• Eligibility: Gifts cannot be purchased for email addresses that already have Lifetime Pro access.
• Incorrect email: Solstice Labs LLC is not responsible for gift links sent to incorrect email addresses provided at checkout.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Scrape, crawl, spider, or systematically download build data, recommendations, statistics, or any other content from the Service, whether manually or through automated means, without prior written permission from Solstice Labs LLC
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure
• Resell, redistribute, republish, or commercially exploit the Service's content, build data, recommendations, or analytical outputs without written authorization
• Use automated tools, bots, scripts, browser extensions, or any programmatic method to access, extract, or interact with the Service or its data, including but not limited to API endpoints, regardless of whether you have a valid account
• Access or attempt to access any API, data feed, or backend service associated with PredBuilds that is not expressly made available to you through the official website or mobile application interface
• Share, transfer, or allow others to use your account credentials to access premium content, or use a paid account to bulk extract or redistribute build data to non-subscribers
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any technical measures designed to protect build data, including but not limited to item gating, rate limiting, authentication requirements, or content access restrictions

7. Intellectual Property

All original content on PredBuilds, including text, analytics, algorithms, statistical models, recommendation systems, derived build data, design, and code, is the property of Solstice Labs LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Build recommendations displayed on PredBuilds are proprietary analytical outputs generated by Solstice Labs LLC's proprietary algorithms. This build data is derived from analysis of ranked match data and constitutes our intellectual property — it is not raw game data and may not be treated as such.

The algorithms, statistical models, weighting systems, filtering criteria, and derived build recommendations that power PredBuilds constitute trade secrets of Solstice Labs LLC. Any unauthorized access, extraction, reproduction, or redistribution of this data — whether for personal, commercial, or competitive purposes — is a violation of these Terms and may constitute misappropriation of trade secrets under applicable law.

We reserve the right to pursue all available legal remedies, including injunctive relief and damages, against any person or entity that misappropriates, scrapes, reproduces, or redistributes our proprietary build data or analytical outputs.

Predecessor, its characters, items, and related imagery are trademarks and copyrights of Omeda Studios Inc. We use game-related assets under fair use for informational and analytical purposes. We claim no ownership over any game assets.

7a. Data Access and Usage

By using PredBuilds, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Build data, recommendations, and analytical outputs may only be accessed through the official PredBuilds website (predbuilds.com) and the official PredBuilds mobile application (iOS and Android). Accessing this data through any other means is prohibited.
• Pro and Lifetime subscriptions grant a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to view build data for your own individual use. This license does not grant any right to reproduce, redistribute, or make derivative works from the data.
• Circumventing any technical measures designed to protect build data — including but not limited to item gating, rate limiting, authentication requirements, session controls, or content access restrictions — is a material violation of these Terms.
• We actively monitor for unauthorized access patterns and data extraction attempts. We reserve the right to immediately suspend or permanently terminate any account that we reasonably believe is being used to scrape, extract, or redistribute build data, without prior notice and without refund.

8. AI Chat Assistant

PredBuilds includes an AI-powered chat assistant accessible to all users. Guest users may send up to 5 messages without an account. Free account holders have a higher message limit, and Pro subscribers have the highest limit. Chat messages are processed by an AI model (Anthropic Claude) and are not permanently stored on our servers. AI responses are for informational purposes only and may contain inaccuracies. Do not submit personal information or offensive content through the chat. Guest chat usage is tracked by IP address for rate limiting purposes.

8a. Third-Party Services and Data

PredBuilds uses data from third-party sources, including omeda.city. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of third-party data. Build recommendations and statistics are generated by our proprietary algorithms for informational purposes only and do not guarantee in-game results.

Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. Your use of Stripe is subject to Stripe's Terms of Service.

We are dependent on omeda.city for game data. If omeda.city becomes unavailable or changes their data access policies, some or all features of PredBuilds may be affected. We are not liable for disruptions caused by third-party data providers.

8b. Cookies and Local Storage

PredBuilds uses the following cookies and browser storage:

• Language preference cookie: When you select a language, we store your choice in a cookie that persists for 30 days so your preferred language is automatically restored on future visits. This cookie contains only the language code (e.g., "es", "fr") and no personal information.
• Authentication cookies: Session cookies to keep you logged in.
• Google Translate: The language translation feature is powered by Google Translate, which may set its own cookies. Google's use of cookies is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

8b2. Advertising and Marketing

We use Google Analytics and Google Ads to analyze site usage and measure advertising effectiveness. By using the Service, you acknowledge that:

• Analytics and tracking: We use Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Ads conversion tracking to understand how users interact with the Service and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. These services may use cookies and similar technologies.
• Customer Match: We may share hashed, anonymized customer data (such as email addresses) with Google for audience targeting via Google Customer Match. This data is used solely to show relevant ads to existing or similar users and is processed in compliance with Google's Customer Match policies.
• Opt-out: You may opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your Google Ad settings at adssettings.google.com or by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

8c. AI Chat Conversation Data

By using the AI chat assistant, you acknowledge and agree:

• Conversation storage: Chat messages are stored in your browser's session storage for the duration of your browsing session. Messages are cleared when you close your browser tab.
• AI processing: Your messages are sent to our server and processed by an AI model (Anthropic Claude) to generate responses. Messages are not permanently stored on our servers after the response is generated.
• Usage limits: The chat assistant has per-session message limits that vary by subscription tier. Guest users receive 5 messages, free account holders receive a higher limit, and Pro subscribers receive the highest limit.
• Accuracy: AI-generated responses are for informational purposes only. While the assistant uses real PredBuilds data, responses may occasionally contain inaccuracies. Always verify important information against the site's pages directly.
• Prohibited content: Do not submit personal information, offensive content, or any content unrelated to Predecessor gameplay through the chat assistant.

8d. Team Finder

The Team Finder feature allows you to post a listing to find other Predecessor players to queue with. By using Team Finder, you acknowledge and agree:

• Public forum: Team Finder is a public forum. By creating a listing, you consent to your Predecessor display name, platform, roles, win rates, and game statistics being publicly visible to other users.
• Own information only: Only upload a listing if you want your Predecessor name publicly available. You may only post your own information. Posting another person's username, platform ID, or contact details without their consent is strictly prohibited and is grounds for immediate account suspension.
• Subscriber access: Users with an active Pro, Lifetime, or Unlimited subscription can view all listing usernames and Predecessor IDs.
• Free user access: Free users must create their own listing to view other players' Predecessor IDs.
• Promotional offer: Free users who create a Team Finder listing receive one (1) month of complimentary Pro access. This promotion is limited to once per year per account. Removing your listing does not revoke the promotional Pro access once granted. Solstice Labs LLC reserves the right to modify or discontinue this promotion at any time.
• Accuracy: Users are responsible for the accuracy of information in their listing.
• Removal: Listings may be removed at our discretion if they violate our Acceptable Use policy.

8e. Beta Testing Program

By opting into the PredBuilds Beta Testing Program, you agree to:

• Receive pre-release versions of the PredBuilds app via Apple TestFlight and/or Google Play closed testing
• Your email address will be shared with Apple and/or Google solely for the purpose of delivering beta app updates
• Beta versions may contain bugs, incomplete features, or instability — they are provided "as-is"
• You may opt out at any time by emailing [email protected], removing yourself from TestFlight, or leaving the Google Play testing program
• PredBuilds may remove you from the beta program at any time without notice
• Feedback provided during beta testing may be used to improve the product without compensation

8f. Verified Profile / Profile Claims

The Verified Profile feature allows Pro and Lifetime subscribers to claim a player profile and display a custom name with a verified badge across PredBuilds. By using this feature, you acknowledge and agree:

• Own identity only: You may only claim a profile that represents your own in-game identity. Claiming another player's profile is a violation of these Terms and grounds for immediate account suspension.
• Accuracy: PredBuilds does not guarantee the accuracy of claimed display names. Display names are user-provided and not independently verified against game accounts.
• Disputes: If you believe someone has incorrectly claimed your profile, contact [email protected] and we will investigate.
• Acceptable names: Claimed display names must follow the same acceptable use rules outlined in Section 6. No impersonation, offensive content, or misleading names.
• Cooldown policy: Claims are subject to a 30-day cooldown. After claiming or unclaiming a profile, you cannot claim a new profile for 30 days.
• Removal: We reserve the right to remove any profile claim that violates these Terms, without prior notice.

8h. Platform Expansion & mobabuilds.com

PredBuilds is developed by Solstice Labs LLC and may in the future become part of a broader multi-game platform operating under mobabuilds.com. If such a migration or expansion occurs:

• All active PredBuilds subscriptions (Monthly Pro and Lifetime Pro) will be honored and carried over to the new platform at no additional cost.
• Lifetime Pro subscribers will retain lifetime access to all Predecessor content on any successor platform.
• Monthly Pro subscribers will retain their subscription terms and pricing for Predecessor content.
• You will be notified by email in advance of any domain migration or platform change.

Scope of Current Subscriptions

The PredBuilds Pro subscription (Monthly and Lifetime) provides access exclusively to Predecessor-related content, including hero builds, tier lists, match analytics, and premium tools for the game Predecessor by Omeda Studios.

If and when additional games are supported (such as Smite 2, League of Legends, Dota 2, or others), access to those games' content will require a separate all-access tier or per-game subscription. Current PredBuilds subscribers will not be automatically charged for additional game content and will have the option to upgrade at their discretion.

Solstice Labs LLC reserves the right to introduce new subscription tiers for multi-game access in the future. Any such changes will be communicated to existing subscribers with reasonable advance notice.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE. BUILD RECOMMENDATIONS, WIN RATE CALCULATIONS, TIER RANKINGS, AND ALL OTHER ANALYTICAL OUTPUTS ARE GENERATED BY PROPRIETARY ALGORITHMS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND DO NOT GUARANTEE IN-GAME PERFORMANCE OR RESULTS.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOLSTICE LABS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email. Your continued use of PredBuilds after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Colorado.
